Notre Dame Hosts Thrilling Tournament and Honors Top Players

The Big Ten Universities Rugby Conference recently held its annual tournament on the picturesque campus of the University of Notre Dame. The event, which took place on April 14-15, featured intense competition among some of the top collegiate rugby teams in the region. The tournament concluded with the host Notre Dame Fighting Irish taking home the championship.

Saturday Pool Play:

Pool A: Indiana Michigan Iowa Purdue

Pool B: Oregon Notre Dame Illinois Michigan State

The pool play on Saturday set the stage for the knockout rounds, with teams battling fiercely for a spot in the semifinals.

Oregon defeated Michigan 28-17

Bowl Semifinals:

Purdue defeated Illinois 28-17

The Indiana University Hoosiers took home the Junior Varsity Cup as they went 5-0 on the weekend.
