Big Ten Sevens Coming to Indy

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Big Ten Universities Rugby Conference is proud to announce that Kuntz Stadium in Indianapolis has been selected as the host venue for the 2025 Big Ten Sevens Championship, taking place April 11–12, 2025.


Kuntz Stadium, a premier competition venue located just minutes from downtown Indianapolis, will provide an accessible, high‑quality environment for two days of elite collegiate sevens rugby. Programs from across the Big Ten will converge in the Circle City to compete for the conference title and position themselves on the national sevens pathway.


“Indianapolis has long been a hub for major sporting events, and Kuntz Stadium offers an ideal stage for fast‑paced, high‑skill sevens rugby,” said Scott Zavrel, Big Ten Rugby Commissioner. “We’re excited to bring this championship to a central, sports‑driven community.”


The event will feature pool play and knockout rounds across both days, with match schedules and participating teams to be announced in the coming weeks.
